Hi Mrs Liz Megginson

Thankyou again for awarding our bitch top honours, it was an honour to receive this from such a FANTASTIC judge.

I have arranged for some photo's to be sent to you of her, and thought you might like some information about her:

She is the UK's breed record holder with now 34 CC's she has had all four group placing's at champ shows and has been BIS at all the English club champ shows,some twice.

She has been top RR in UK for 2004,05,06 and runner up last year as she was only shown for the first part of the year as she had a litter in September and Crufts was her first show since the puppies, she was top puppy in 2003, she gainned her first CC & BIS at the age of 9 months under jude Rodi Hubbentiel (not sure if I have spelt his name correct) She was BOB at crufts 2006 and BOS in 2007 and BOB was a Veldtkammer dog. She was runner up at the contest of champion last year against all the other top dogs of their breed.

This award is a great honnor to us all here at Veldtkammer from such a well known and HIGHLY respected judge such as yourself.

Our chairlady Mrs Liz Megginson judged the Ridgebacks at Crufts this year.  In her own words she describes the experience.

“I have just returned from judging Crufts. It is the ultimate cherry on the top of all judging appointments and what an amazing experience it was.

 

Over 23,000 dogs were judged over four days and my Ridgeback entry was the highest ever at 282 entries.

 

I have to say that we should not be ashamed of the quality of our RRs in South Africa, as our best could compete there and win! “

And if that was not enough we also are delighted that Richard Van Aken will be judging the  Rhodesian Ridgeback World Congress Ch Show in Ireland on 15th August 2008.

And  our member  Cheryl Jacobs ’ bitch  Roodedraai Divine Magick of  Gondwana is one of the youngest to receive  RBIS and BOS. She was only 7 months old, born on  1 September 2007.  The awards were won at the SARRC speciality show in  April 2008 under Anthony Lord Edwards
